In April 2015, we presented the first phase of Germinate at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, as part of the 2015 Edinburgh International Science Festival. The installation included the launch of our Germination Station, a pop-up seed distribution event which helped connect a range of people with the City Croft project. We asked participants to contribute to the City Croft project by helping us germinate seeds for the garden, using Twitter or emailing us with progress photos of their seedlings.
We've now begun receiving progress updates in form of photos and Tweets from our City Croft Germinators. We plan to continue to grow this strand of the project through additional pop-up Germination Station events, in addition to continual communications with our Germinators to provide support and encouragement.
